Chiswick’s Christmas market dates are already set. The Duck Pond Christmas Market at Chiswick House runs on Saturday 5, Sunday 6, Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 December, 10am to 3pm, on the organiser’s own calendar. Around it sit the monthly markets on the High Road and a Christmas edition at Gunnersbury Park.

Sunday 6 and Sunday 20 December are the two days when you can do both ends of Chiswick in one outing: the High Road market in the morning and Chiswick House in the afternoon.
Duck Pond Christmas Market, Chiswick House
Duck Pond runs its artisan, food and craft market at Chiswick House on the first Sunday of every month, and adds a separate Christmas calendar in December (Duck Pond Market, Chiswick). The Christmas dates are Saturday 5, Sunday 6, Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 December, with shorter hours than the monthly market: 10am to 3pm rather than 4pm (Duck Pond Market, events).
- Where: in front of the house, along the driveway. The organiser says it sometimes shifts along to make way for weddings.
- Entry: free. The gardens are free every day.
- Covered stalls: the organiser has brought back a marquee for October to December 2026.
- Getting there: the organiser gives W4 2QN for satnav, via the brown signs from the A4 west of the Hogarth Roundabout; parking is in the Chiswick House car park. Chiswick station is a 13-minute walk to the Burlington Lane gate, and the 190 and E3 buses stop nearby.
Chiswick House’s own Christmas ticketed event inside the house was the other big draw last December. Its 2026 dates are not announced; see our Chiswick House at Christmas page.
Gunnersbury Park
Duck Pond’s Christmas in Gunnersbury Park market is on Sunday 13 December, 10am to 4pm, with a regular market on Sunday 8 November (Duck Pond Market, events). Duck Pond’s calendar bills its 11 October market as its return to the park.
Old Market Place, Chiswick High Road
Two volunteer and community markets use the Old Market Place, opposite M&S, W4 2DR:
- Chiswick Cheese Market, the third Sunday of each month, 9.30am to 3pm. Its published 2026 dates include Sunday 15 November and Sunday 20 December. It is run by volunteers as a not-for-profit and says it has given more than £68,000 to charity.
- Chiswick Flower Market, the first Sunday of each month, 9.30am to 3.30pm, with about 35 traders. Its site lists only the next market (Sunday 4 October); on the same first-Sunday rule, November’s is on the 1st and December’s on the 6th. Check the site in the week before.
What is not confirmed
- The Chiswick Christmas Collective Market, a makers’ market held at Chiswick House last year, has no 2026 listing: the Chiswick House page for it now reads “This listing has been expired”.
- Chiswick House’s ticketed Christmas trail and Father Christmas grotto have not announced 2026 dates.
