Brentford v Liverpool on 17 October, Kew's Halloween trail from the 16th, a Zombie Train in Brentford and rugby club fireworks on 7 November. Every date.
The biggest date in the next six weeks is a football one: Brentford play Liverpool at the Gtech Community Stadium on Saturday 17 October, 3pm. The night before, Halloween at Kew opens its after-dark trail, running to 1 November. Half term then fills the last week of October with a Halloween train and a zombie night at the steam museum, outdoor Halloween films at Osterley, spooky films and slime at Gunnersbury, and Forest at Brentford on the 31st. In November, Chiswick Rugby Club’s fireworks are on Saturday 7th, fireworks at 7.30pm.
Updated 3 October: two Hogarth’s House workshops (The Quiet Language of Plants on 4 October and Make Your Mark on 24 October) have been taken off its website, so we have removed them. Added: Halloween at Kew, Osterley’s Halloween trail and films, the rugby club’s fireworks times, Freud’s Last Session at the Tabard and more.
Everything below comes from the organisers’ own listings, read on 28 September and again on 3 October 2026, and every entry links back to its source so you can check before you set off. For places that are open whatever the month, see things to do in Chiswick.
